Their election took place at the June 17, 2025, Board of Directors meeting.
While Connecticut's session is over, key federal decisions are underway. The House passed its version of the budget reconciliation bill — The Senate is voting now. If it passes, it returns to the House to consider Senate changes, then heads to the President for final approval.

With less than a month left in the legislative session (ending June 4), state leaders are deep in negotiations over Connecticut’s budget.
As we move through the final 4 weeks of the legislative session, bills and budgets will be negotiated and heard on the floor. The CT Child Tax Credit is included in the budget proposal, but that does not guarantee that it will pass as-is at the end of session June 4th.
