Immigration Pathways: Understanding Policy, Benefits, and Community Impact

This three-part series convenes nonprofit providers and advocates in Greater Danbury to deepen their understanding of immigration issues. Through two webinars and a multi-hour in-person session, participants will explore immigration basics, benefit eligibility, and policy implications, while collaborating on strategies to strengthen coordinated service delivery. The series is designed to foster partnership, build trust, and equip organizations with practical tools to better serve immigrant households.

In‑Person Convening: Deep Dive on Immigration & Service Coordination 

Thursday, April 2, 2026 | WCSU Midtown Student Center | 1:00 - 4:00 PM

This multi‑hour convening will bring together nonprofit leaders and service providers from Greater Danbury to strengthen collective understanding of immigration issues and coordinated service delivery. Through expert presentations, interactive case studies, and collaborative planning exercises, participants will explore how immigration status impacts access to social service benefits and identify strategies to close gaps in support. The session is designed to build cross‑agency partnership, deepen trust, and equip organizations with actionable tools to better serve immigrant households.
