Show your support for high quality child care and better pay for teachers! Sign the CT Early Childhood Alliance’s petition to call on legislators and Governor Lamont to negotiate an agreement to:  

  • Deposit $300 million into an Early Care and Education Endowment that will support expansion of the Early Start program.  
  • Fund healthcare for early educators 
  • Fund Care4Kids to maintain current enrollment

This event allows nonprofits to educate policymakers and the public about their vital, diverse work across our communities. With federal cuts on the horizon, it’s vital that the state budget prioritizes investment in nonprofits. Register in advance to secure your shirt and stickers. Homemade signs are encouraged. School Meals for All CT Lobby Day

May 20th 2-5 pm, LOB Rm. 1C 
Join the School Meals for All CT Coalition for a light briefing, followed by time at the Capitol to speak with legislators. Please register and call or email your legislators to let them know you would like to meet them at the Capitol. Invite others and spread the word using the SM4ACT flyer! Reach out to friends, parents, students, school staff, etc. and ask them to join. Register today! 

Danbury Collective Civic Engagement Workshop
