Last week we joined advocates, families, providers, and legislators at the Capitol to advance solutions to Connecticut’s affordability crisis.
We called for funding for the Endowment, eliminating the Care 4 Kids waitlist, and a Child Tax Credit for 550,000 children. Our Food Farmacy was also featured as a model for food as medicine in action.
Grateful to stand alongside partners and legislative champions moving these priorities forward.
TAKE ACTION
Join us in Hartford on Wednesday, April 8 for the CTECA Advocacy Day to support policies that strengthen children, families, and communities. See details below or email us tida.infahsaeng@unitedwaycwc.org.
Can’t join in person? Take 2 minutes to support a CT Child Tax Credit. The Finance Committee left it out of the proposal, but the final budget is still being negotiated. $600 per child provides real relief for groceries, bills, or repairs.
Personalize your message, add your contact info, and press send — decision-makers need to hear from you!
