Making safe, quality care affordable for hardworking families.
To reduce the cost of care for children ages birth to 4 and after-school care for children ages 5 to 18, United Way provides funds to make care in licensed centers more affordable.
HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS
United Way provides grant funding to high-quality, licensed child care centers and after-school programs. Want to learn more about how to partner with us? Check out our Grants Information section to learn more about our next grant cycle. Using the dollars they receive, the child care and after-school providers reduce the cost of child care for struggling families, who otherwise could not afford to send their children to these quality centers.
